February 24, 2021

Who We Are

Women in Autonomy is a forum created to educate, equip and empower women in the automotive and autotech space. Our mission is to embolden women to become leaders and change-makers in the industry, ensuring female voices are better heard and represented.

We host regular forums in the San Francisco Bay Area, where female executives, engineers, policy makers, and academics weigh in on topical issues and address common challenges facing autonomous driving.

First Mile to Last Mile Autonomy (Virtual Panel)
February 24, 2021
The economic drivers pushing autonomous trucking are clear, with severe driver shortages and the need for improved asset utilization topping the list. Add to that the accelerated demand for delivery and logistics spurred by COVID-19. While the business models and path forward for trucking appears to have fewer obstacles than for cars - technological, logistical and infrastructure challenges remain. This session will bring together key players from the ecosystem to discuss the state of autonomous fleets, the hurdles the industry needs to overcome, and how rollouts may take shape.
